Gaggia Platinum Vision Super-Automatic Espresso Machine with Milk Island

The Gaggia Platinum Vision brings convenience to the next level. Preparing your coffee in the morning has never been easier.  The touch screen display lets you easily personalize and program your drink with some great functions such as a bypass doser, pre-infusion option and an adjustable burr grinder.  Eight language display choices include English, Italian, German, French, and Spanish.  The 1300-watt boiler features Rapid Steam Technology allowing you brew and steam one after the other within seconds.  A stainless steel front panel and stainless steel boiler ensure the durability of the machine.  Easily have your cappuccinos and lattes prepared with the Gaggia Milk Island attachment. 

Grinder: Your coffee beans are safe in the UV-proof bean hopper which has an airtight lid. It has the capacity for 8 oz. of beans. The ceramic burr blades provide a consistent grind and reduced heat transfer, making for a more flavorful and aromatic shot. An Adapting System automatically adjusts grind time to deliver the chosen coffee quantity, no matter what coffee beans you are using. To change the coffee flavor or to use decaf, an integrated bypass doser allows for the use of pre-ground coffee, while skipping the standard grinding process.

Stainless Steel Boiler: The Platinum Vision has a stainless steel lined aluminum boiler which provides for optimal temperature control of your beverage.

Removable Reservoir: The 57 oz. reservoir is conveniently removable, making it easy to refill with water. To remove the constant impurities from your water, there is an Aqua Prima water filtration system. When the water runs low in the reservoir, a low water warning indicator alerts you that it's time to refill.

Cup Warmer: It is best to brew your espresso into preheated cups to preserve the temperature of your shot. Thus the Gaggia Platinum Vision has an active cup warmer which is heated electronically and gives you better heat then a passive cup warmer.

Pre-infusion Cycle: You have the option of using the pre-infusion cycle. This pre-wets the grounds before the brewing cycle begins.

Rapid Steam Technology: The wait time is really quick between brewing and steaming due to the Rapid Steam Technology.

Gaggia Milk Island: Turn the steam knob and a separate frothing attachment - the Milk Island, will take care of creating the perfect foam for those mouth-watering creamy cappuccinos.  The fully detachable carafe can be removed and refrigerated between drinks to keep your milk fresh. 

Pannarello Steam Wand:  A Pannarello movable Steam Wand attachment makes for easy steaming and frothing for cappuccinos and lattes.

Programmable Control Panel: The Gaggia Platinum Vision Espresso Machine has a digital touch screen for programming and viewing alerts for cleaning and descaling, setting water temperature and brewing volume, pre-infusion and dosage (Opti-Dose System), number of cups brewed, automatic timer and energy saving mode, and turning cup warmer to on, off, or standby. The controls manage the grinding, brewing, and steaming and frothing. With the Optidose feature you can program the strength of your coffee to your liking. The indicator lights notify you when care is required or there is a low water level.

Self-Rinse Cycle: To keep your machine in great shape, there is a self-rinse cycle.

Energy Saving Mode: The standby mode activates after one hour of idle time.

Electronic Height-Adjustable Cup Tray: The drip tray can be adjusted electronically to the height that you need.
