The Gaggia Brera in the silver color is an elegant conversation piece for your counter top. Sophisticated yet simple to use, the Gaggia Brera brews a precise shot of delicious espresso each time, leaving no place for human error. The easy push buttons and large LED display with color coded icons for grinding, brewing and steaming make it a pleasure to use.

For your convenience the coffee bean container, water tank, grounds disposal and drip tray are accessible from the front of the machine. Although built small to accommodate your counter space, this does not take away from its superior functionality.

An exceptional ceramic grinder gives you the perfect grind needed for your espresso. There is also an adapting system that adjusts the grind time, based on your beans, to deliver the exact quantity of coffee selected. You are given control over the water volume released and coffee dosage grinded, allowing you to customize your drink to suit your taste.

A telescopic coffee dispenser allows you to adjust the height to accommodate a variety of cup sizes.

Grinder: The grinder has burr blades which help reduce friction and gives a consistent grind. This keeps the beans from losing its flavors. With the adapting system, the grind time will adjust automatically to brew the selected coffee volume. The 8 oz. bean hopper features an airtight UV-proof double lid. For those that like an occasional decaf coffee or get in the mood of a different flavor coffee than what's in the bean hopper, there is a bypass doser which you can fill with pre-ground coffee.

Stainless Steel Boiler: The durable boiler is stainless steel, ensuring that all shots are brewed at the optimal temperature.

Removable Reservoir: The reservoir is removable and can hold a generous 40 oz. of water. A Mavea Water Filter with four stages of filtration, works to remove impurities and reduces scale build up. When the water level in the reservoir gets low, there is a low water warning indicator to let you know that it needs to be refilled.

Cup Warmer: The Gaggia Brera has a passive cup warmer which heats your cups with the heat that is leftover from the boiler. This helps to maintain the coffee temperature of your shot.

Pre-infusion Cycle: To bring out the best flavors of your beans, prior to the brewing, the grounds are wet briefly.

Rapid Steam Technology: The Rapid Steam technology allows you to steam and then brew without having to wait for the machine to cool down.

Pannarello Steam Wand: The Pannarello movable steam wand attachment creates perfectly frothed milk each time. Prepare delicious lattes and cappuccinos in the comfort of your home.

Programmable Control Panel: The Gaggia Brera Espresso Machine has an easy LCD display with color-coded icons and push-button controls. The controls manage the grinding, brewing, and steaming and frothing. With the Optidose feature you can program the strength of your coffee to your liking. It also has indicator lights to notify you when care is required or there is a low water level.

Self-Rinse Cycle: Maintenance is made easy with the rinse cycle which keeps the machine in tip top shape.

Energy Saving Mode: The energy saving mode saves energy by putting the machine into standby mode when not active for over an hour.
