Gaggia Accademia Super Automatic Espresso Machine

The Gaggia Accademia Super Automatic is perfect for those that have a very hectic schedule but love their coffee.  It is aesthetically pleasing and very user-friendly.  Seven buttons are dedicated to drink selections.  Those include: espresso, caffe, caffe lungo, cappuccino, latte, latte macchiato and hot water.  The stainless steel front panel is fingerprint-resistant and has a durable metal frame.   There is easy access to the water tank and coffee bean hopper from the top of the machine.  The integrated coffee grounds container is removable from the front.  For hassle free maintenance, the Accademia has a removable brew group so you can remove it easily to rinse and it also has an automated milk circuit cleaning and descaling cycles.

Grinder: The durable ceramic burr grinder grinds consistently and reduces heat transfer, ensuring that the flavor and aroma of your beans are not lost. No matter what coffee beans you are using, the adapting system will adjust grind time automatically to deliver the chosen coffee quantity. Store your beans in the double lid aroma saver airtight UV-proof 8 oz coffee bean hopper. An integrated bypass doser allows you to place pre-ground coffee like decaf or anything else when you are in the mood for a change.

Dual Boilers: The Accademia features two thermoblock boilers for optimal performance.

Removable Reservoir: The removable reservoir makes it really simple to refill the water. The 54 oz size of the reservoir means you won't have to keep running to refill it and can pull countless shots.  The machines uses a Mavea water filtration system, which works to remove impurities and reduces scale build up. There is a low water warning indicator to let you know when its time to refill.

Cup Warmer: Warming your cups prior to brewing is essential to maintaining the coffee temperature of your shot. Cold cups can take away some of the heat of your shot. Thus the active cup warmer which is heated electronically.

Pre-infusion Cycle: The grounds are wet briefly just before the primary brewing cycle. This brings out the best flavors of your coffee. 

Rapid Steam Technology: Steam and brew - one after the other, without the usual wait time, due to the Rapid Steam technology.

Gaggia Milk Management System: A separate frothing attachment - the Cappuccino System, takes care of creating the perfect foam for those mouth-watering creamy cappuccinos.  The fully detachable carafe can be removed and refrigerated between drinks to keep your milk fresh. Having a detached milk circuit, means that the milk does not enter the Accademia. The advanced Cappuccino System lets you set milk parameters for normal, minimum, maximum or no froth

Commercial Steam Wand:  For those that prefer to manually steam and froth - the commercial style movable steam wand attachment helps you create perfectly frothed milk each time. Prepare delicious lattes and cappuccinos in the comfort of your home.

Programmable Control Panel: Merely decide what drink you have a fancy for and the Gaggia Accademia Espresso Machine with its one-touch, programmable push-button controls for espresso, hot water and milk outputs will quickly brew it for you. With the Optidose feature you can program the strength of your coffee to your liking by adjusting the amount of coffee used per cup. The advanced Cappuccino System lets you set milk parameters for normal, minimum, maximum or no froth; as well as control beverage strength and volume. The indicator lights notify you when care is required or there is a low water level.
